Rocket League Ps4 Here No need to download today’s Rocket League update, this will bring it to Sony’s PlayStation Cross-Play Beta. This means that starting today, Rocket League players on PlayStation 4 can play with Switch and Xbox players.
PS4 players can already be played with PC players, but the changes are affecting us. Previously, we could match Xbox and Switch players or PlayStation 4 players, but we have never been able to have a mixed platform set that includes all of them. As the times change, players on three hosts and PCs can all join the same game. As usual, if you are on a PC, all console players will be classified as “Psynet” players.
I hope this helps simplify the singles matchmaking process in snow in my favorite mode, where it is difficult to find matches with less than 1,000 players. It may not significantly affect the core mode composed of thousands of players, but it does lift the platform’s restrictions on tournaments.
This is a necessary step towards the next challenge of Psyonix, which is to provide a cross-platform party so that we can collaborate with our console friends. Psyonix said in the announcement that this feature will appear in the “first update of this year’s Rocket League Ps4.”
At the same time, this is the Rocket League module. No matter whose net it is, just hit the ball in it:
As early as the fall of 2018, Sony gave in and let the PS4 version of Fortnite join the multiplayer party. It has been promised that more then Rocket League Ps4 games will be cross-played soon, and then… nothing happens. Fortunately, after months of radio silence, Sony is reopening and allowing Rocket League to join the PS4 Cross play Beta program. This means that from today, PS4 owners can participate in car football matches with players from all other platforms. The Rocket League cross-platform party system will also be launched soon.
Rocket League Ps4 developer Psynoix has the following views on the real cross-play that finally enters their game…
We are happy to announce that from now on, Rocket League has entered the PlayStation Crossplay Beta version! Players on all platforms can now randomly match or fight against each other in all types of online matches (ie casual, competitive and extra modes). But what about cross-platform parties? In our first update of this year (more information will be released soon), we will release a cross-platform party system, and you can cooperate with friends on any platform at the touch of a button.
Today’s announcement is very important to us at Psyonix, because we know how much our community has hoped for comprehensive cross-platform support for some time. It is precisely because of you, and thank our fans and our generous partners for all the systems and services that make this possible. On behalf of the entire team, we thank you for your enthusiasm and perseverance. We will continue to do our best to make Rocket League the best experience.
To enable Rocket League cross-play, just go to options, select the play tab, and check the cross-platform play box. You can now play private matches with anyone from any platform.
Rocket League is now available on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
The Rocket League Ps4 season 3
The Rocket League Ps4 season 3 will be available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X on April 7. At the same time, Psyonix and Epic Games finally announced today the new Rocket Pass. According to the announcement, the new Rocket Pass for Season 3 will have more than 70 levels and contain a large number of new items, some of which can be previewed through the new trailer released today (the rest can be viewed here).
The highlight of the new Rocket Pass is definitely Tyranno, which is a new car with Dominux collision box added and can be unlocked immediately by purchasing the premium version of the Rocket Pass. Season 3 also added cars to NASCAR and Formula 1, but these will not be included in the Rocket Pass.
In addition, the professional level of Rocket Pass will be overhauled in Season 3. More specifically, levels above 70 will no longer be hidden. Conversely, players of this level or higher can now check in advance which items can unlock 30 levels. In addition, the ability to purchase Pro Tiers will also return.
